She will be attending Boise State in the fall.
Cascade High School senior Zach Demars is the recipient of the $10,000 Everett Rotary/Brett Akio Jensen Memorial Scholarship! Zach is involved, scholarly, talented…and very deserving of this award. Each year Cascade High School students, staff and the very supportive community pull off an amazing food and toy drive to help needy families during the holidays. Food and toys are collected, then everything is organized. Volunteers shop for families the deliver the food and toys to the needy families.

Jack Gilday had the winning raffle ticket and is now the proud owner of a Russell Wilson autographed football, which came complete with official paperwork and in a protective case. Thanks to everyone for buying tickets and supporting the Brett Akio Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Brett’s Run/Walk 7 was another amazing day, thanks to all of you for supporting Brett’s Run/Walk and making it special. While we try our best to get around and personally greet and thank each and every one of you, we know we miss some people and we want to make sure you know how much we appreciate your support.
All of you, including; participants – (runners and walkers), helpers, workers, donors, sponsors, bidders, servers, cleaners, our starter and the committee members- keep this event important, fun and meaningful. We are able to raise money for the memorial scholarship fund, and also share stories and memories of Brett.
