Brett’s Run Silent Auction

We will have a silent auction again this year at Legion Memorial Park, and it will be open for browsing and bidding before, during and after Brett’s Run.  Thanks to amazing donations from our very generous sponsors, we have another outstanding group of items up for silent bidding.   Click the 2018 Brett’s Run Silent Auction link in  the top menu to open a growing list of just some of these items, including photos.

We will feature one or two (or three)  items on this main page each week.  Stop by and check out the weekly items and the growing silent auction list.

Silent Auction featured items of the week:   A Husky and Cougar metal yard stake, Husky-Seahawk and Cougar wind chimes and Husky-Seahawk and Cougar garden stakes!

Thanks for help with Brett Jensen scholarship event

The Brett Jensen Memorial Walk and Run 8 is in the books. Family, friends, neighbors, community members, athletes and coaches gathered at Everett’s Legion Memorial Park last Saturday to remember Brett, encourage health and fitness, raise some funds to continue the scholarship program, and have some fun.

All four goals were accomplished. The weather was wonderful and the 3.6 mile route down Alverson and Grand was beautiful. Carpe diem! We truly did seize the day.

We want to sincerely thank the Everett Parks and Police departments, the participants, the business sponsors, the volunteers and silent auction donors. All of these groups are critical to the success of this event.

In May, because of all of the support, The Brett Jensen Memorial Scholarship Foundation was able to award $15,000 in scholarship money through the Rotary Club of Everett and Cascade High School. To see the 2017 and previous scholarship recipients, please visit our website at
