Welcome to 2012!
We wish all of you a very Happy New Year! Thanks for all of your help and support, we appreciate all the nice things people have done.
In 2011 we were able to accomplish some great things and it was a team effort!
- We would like to thank all the individuals and business sponsors once more for their support of Brett’s Run/Walk 3 which took place on August 20, 2011 at Legion Memorial Park—through your generous participation and contributions, over $15,000 was raised–this goes a long way in our ability to award scholarships in Brett’s memory both now and in the future through Cascade High School and the Everett Rotary Club.
- This year’s winners were Annie Manhardt from Cascade High School–$3000 award; and Lucas Sontra from Everett High School–a $7000 Everett Rotary award–the Brett Jensen Memorial Scholarship Fund donates $3500 of this total and the Rotary Club matches their donation. Annie is attending Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and Lucas is attending Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
- Please save the date for this year’s walk/run–it will take place at Legion Memorial Park on the morning of August 25, 2012. Megan’s graduation class (2002) are planning on having their class reunion on the same weekend.
Again, we appreciate all of your love and support. We look forward to seeing you on August 25, 2012 for Brett’s Walk/Run 4.
